An expert in copyright issues, Robin has considerable experience in contracts drafting and negotiation both for software and other intellectual property rights. Formerly a director of an eLearning company, he has been a partner in a major commercial law form since 2002.
His role is to challenge the software vendor’s findings in interpreting their own contacts and to identify the fault lines in their licensing demands.

With almost 20 years of experience, Technical Audit Director and lead Oracle consultant is a highly regarded licensing expert in the industry. Having worked as a compliance auditor for Oracle EMEA, he is very well used to Oracle license negotiations, contractual pitfalls and the opportunities they can create for customers. He has played a crucial role within the license restructuring of many of the FTSE organizations, while managing friendly – and hostile – audits and getting the best commercial solutions. The technical knowledge he and the Cerno team provide has proven to be invaluable in managing both commercial and contractual negotiations.
